Welcome to UNYWHO, the Upstate New York Women's History Organization. 

Our purpose is to provide information for members on activities, issues and resources for research, teaching, community education, and other concerns related to women's history and the concerns of women historians in the Upstate New York region.

We also provide liaison between individuals with similar interests, both within the Upstate New York region and elsewhere, through regional women's history groups, and between regional interests and the activities of other national and regional groups serving the historical community.

And finally, we support and stimulate women's historical activities by individual members and groups within Upstate New York.
